Mr. Cottom is beginning his 30th year  teaching Theatre and serving as Technical Director at Tomball High School. His previous four years were at Klein Forest High School. Mr. Cottom holds a Bachelor of Arts in Teaching from Sam Houston State University with a Major in Theatre and has obtained numerous Graduate hours in Gifted and Talented Education and in Theatre. He also taught and served as talent coordinator for the Texas Governor’s Program for Gifted and Talented students for six summers. His awards include the Theatre Alumni of the Year Award from the Sam Houston State University Theatre Department, Walmart Teacher of the Year, the Alma Slawinski Thespian Leadership Award, the Texas Thespians Hall of Fame Theatre Director Award, and the Tomball ISD A+ Teacher of The Year Award.

Mrs. Hearn is a 2012 graduate from Stephen F. Austin State University with a bachelor’s degree in theater. While at SFA she directed, acted, and worked behind the scenes of numerous shows; most notably in She Stoops to Conquer, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and as a member of the Original Cast performance troupe. While at SFA Mrs. Hearn received an award for outstanding achievement in her field. Mrs. Hearn has a vast knowledge of theatre direction and acting techniques as well as an emphasis in costume design and construction.
